This gallery features companies founded by UC Berkeley faculty, staff, and bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as companies launched to commercialize intellectual property licensed from UC Berkeley. These ventures drew on campus programs, networks, and support in their earliest days and have since gone on to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges and drive economic vitality.
