UC Berkeley's Faculty Founders Network is a community of Berkeley faculty members who share an interest in innovation and startup formation. Membership is open to any UC Berkeley ladder faculty. This group was inspired by Chancellor Lyons's "100 Faculty Founders" list from 2023, and has expanded to include Bakar Fellows, AIC Grant awardees, participants in the LSEC Venture Grant and IGI WIES programs, Berkeley SkyDeck founders, among others.
The group's goals are:
- Maintain an email list for communication
- Host occasional virtual meetings, in-person gatherings, and other events of interest
- Share opportunities and resources relevant to faculty entrepreneurship
